As some of you might know by now, RIOTOR and I parted ways. I spent great years with the band and stand proud to this day of all what we acheived together between 2007 and 2012.

We parted ways mainly due to lack of compromise concerning schedule but also to differences in perception of the direction the band should go in.

RIOTOR is looking for a new lead guitarist, any interested parties in the Quebec area should contact the band very soon. They are working hard to put a second album out. I wish them great luck in their future endeavours, they remain great friends of mine.

As for me, I will keep playing old school speed metal in DEMONA. We will release a second album called “Speaking with the Devil” this year and we are making plans to tour this summer.

I also won’t give up writing songs in the same way I did for RIOTOR. I will start a new band of extreme thrashing metal. I already have 6(66) songs, some of the most crushing I have written. I would compare them to the more obscure songs I wrote like “Religicide”, “Metal Oath” or “Internal Burning”. The main influences are from DESASTER / SARCOFAGO / old DEATH / old SEPTULTURA / MERCILESS / SODOM.

The working name of the band is VORACE. I plan to record a demo later this year followed by an album.
