Bret Hoffmann, vocalist of Malevolent Creation has passed away at the age of 51 years. Last April he was diagnosed with colon cancer and it seems that the discovery of his illness came too late. Only two months later the New York vocals left us.

Bret was currently immersed in another project called Fire For Effect in which he was accompanied by Gio Geraca on guitar (Compañero en Malevolent Creation), Tony Choy of Pestilence on bass and drums Derek Roddy (Nile, Hate Eternal, Malevolent Creation)
